The New York times leaked two more names from the 2003 confidential PED test today. The names: Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz. Manny Ramirez gave a heartfelt and logical explanation for their names being part of the failed '03 test:
Manny Ramirez tells ESPN's Bob Holzman that 50 game suspension was embarrassing but release of his name "isn't that big of a deal"
Ramirez: "Me and David (Ortiz) are mountains: This isn't going to have any impact on either of us. We're both going to keep hitting."
Well it wasn't really logical nor was it heartfelt. It was a pretty arrogant statement, though. What an idiot.
What say you, Faithful Eleven?
Well at least Sox' fans didn't jump on Pettite and Giambi when they got popped for PEDs. Looks like the knew this could happen...
ReplyDeleteIs 2004 ALCS really the greatest comeback in Baseball history now? With two known juicers as the core of the lineup it makes being down 0-3 a little more manageable
Kind of a level playing field in terms of cheaters present so I'll still rate it as one of the best playoff series I've ever watched.
ReplyDeleteManny Ramirez has zero integrity so let's hope he stays out of the HOF and his Karma brings the Dodgers to a grinding halt in the playoffs this year.
