Irony: Unknown Slugger Adrian Gonzalez

I have a brother named Edgar...he too plays for the Padres

There is an article in the USA Today for this Monday entitled:

Unknown slugger Gonzalez is among the NL's biggest bats

I was made aware of this article early Saturday morning as I watched the Women's Wimbledon Final trophy presentation to Serena Williams. After the presentation NBC cut from Wimbledon to the studio to apprise their viewers of some additional stories, one of which was the upcoming Adrian Gonzalez story in the USA today. NBC showed the front of the USA Today sports page followed by a slide-show of three Adrian Gonzalez pictures......except picture #2 was not Adrian Gonzalez. It was older brother Edgar.

Does NBC have a keen sense of irony with the use of the Edgar picture and the title of their article, "Unknown slugger Gonzalez is among the NL's biggest bats", or are they just stupid?

I vote the latter.
