12 In A Row: San Diego Chargers 24 Hapless Raiders 20

The Bolts have no linemen left. LT (hurt his ankle?) didn't play during crunch time. Richard Seymour showed up yesterday, met his teammates and dominated the Chargers' O-Line. No discernible pressure on the Phunky Phat Quarterback.

We do have .43 cent......and at least we won.

I wonder if anyone was pissed about the Chargers coming out on top?

  1. A Win is a Win...and who doesn't love beating the Raiders? Here is my concern...I came home from school when it was 10-10 and apparently that score did not reflect the chargers play up until that point.

While Rivers put together a drive at the end of the game to get us the win what happens when we are down 10 to the Patriots in the 4th? I know this was the first game, but we played the Raiders. A Championship football team should, in my humble opinion, be much more dominant and consistent in their play.

The good thing here: 15 games to improve.

  2. Well said, Kyle. We do have 15 games to improve and a team that is peaking in September is probably an after thought come January.

Here's my concern: will we ever see the creative schemes necessary to get to the QB? Or are the schemes already creative, but we just have overrated talent. Richard Seymour showed up at the 11th hour and got two sacks...the Chargers had 1.

If Jamarcus Russell has any accuracy the story of that game is probably a bit different but a win is a win and I can now talk crap to all of my Raider Nation associates.

  4. We are just lucky we played that fat fuck from Oakland, JaMarcus Russell. He is by far the worst QB in the NFL and CFL combined. Heard someone say that if Jeff Garcia had been the QB the Raiders would have won by 2 touchdowns. Fortunately, for us the Raider coaching staff and front office have lower IQ's then there pathetic, uneducated fans. The Raider Nation is made up of failures in the game of life so why should the team they follow be any different? Anyway, the Chargers will be fine. Crater Face may have to fire another defensive coordinator and Merriman may have to beat down another skank to prove his toughness but they'll get it figured out.
